Akara is a popular West African street food made from bean paste that's whipped into a fluffy batter and fried into a golden brown fritter that's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Enjoy it with your favorite sauce or in a sandwich.
What you need
1 cup Albasa Akara Mix ¾ cup water 2 tbsp oil
Oil for deep frying
Instruction
Mix Akara Mix, water and oil in a bowl
Heat oil in a deep pan to about 330oF
Scoop batter into oil with a spoon. Do not overcrowd.
Fry on low heat for about 3 mins flipping occasionally.
Remove unto paper towel with a slotted spoon
