Not the typical jollof taste

It was okay but not your regular jollof rice taste. More like an Indian dish

Tasteful but different. Ingredients used such as paprika are not used typically for jollof.If you’re looking for the authentic tasting jollof rice, this is not it. This tastes more like a Mediterranean dish .
However it’s an easy to prepare meal.

Just add rice, water, and oil or butter and serve up authentic jollof rice with extraordinary ease. Serve with any meat of your choice.

 

Important information

Oven-Baked Jollof Rice

Ingredients

2 cups parboiled rice
1 package of 3.7oz  Albasa Jollof Rice blend 
1/3 cup oil
2 ¾ cups of water
12oz thawed frozen mixed veggies(optional)

Instructions

1. Pre-heat oven to 290oF
2. Rinse rice until water runs clear. Drain well in a strainer.
3. Boil water in a kettle or pan.
4. In an oven-safe 1/3 pan, add rice, oil, water, and Albasa Jollof Rice blend, and mix well. Cover tightly with tin foil.
5. Bake for 1hr 20min. mixing hallway through.
6. If using mixed veggies, add in the last 10 min of cooking.
7. Mix and serve with any meat of your choice.
